Hanacans completed second Production Base in Center of Vietnam with Annual Production Capacity of 2 Billion Cans set.

Hanacans Joint Stock Company (HAC), a subsidiary of Showa Denko K.K (SDK), headquartered in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, completed construction of new Can Making Plant in Quang Nam Province, which is in the suburbs of Da Nang City in Center of Vietnam, and had a Opening ceremony of new Can Making Plant on June 8, 2018.
The new plant is HAC’s second production base in Vietnam, and its production line has annual production capacity of 700 million can bodies. Hanacans is now also working to increase the capacity of the lines to produce can ends set at its factory in Bach Ninh Province in the suburbs of Hanoi. When this work is finished in the coming October 2018, Hanacans’ two plants’ total capacity to produce can bodies and can ends will be that for 2 billion cans set per year.
Since acquired in May 2014, Hanacans has been introduced leading-edge production technologies and quality control system by Showa Aluminum Can Corporation (SAC) (the first aluminum can manufacturer in Japan), and successfully increasing its sales in Vietnam centering on Northern part of Vietnam. Hanacans will pursue further increase in its aluminum can sales in Center of Vietnam through its effort to make Hanacans’ new Can Making Plant the one that quickly and timely offers the best quality products in the region which meet demands of the customers and contribute to the development of Quang Nam province.
